The Southern Border Crisis Is 'Intentional,' Experts Say
- By Sarah Holliday - The Washington Stand
Recent reports show how damaging the southern border crisis continues to be, as millions of migrants stream into the U.S. illegally. Even Barack Obama’s Homeland Security secretary, Jeh Johnson, admitted, “[T]his needs to be, for the Biden administration, for the U.S. government, an all-hands-on-deck, whole-of-government effort to address this crisis.” It’s turning “cities upside down,” he insisted. Ten years ago, Johnson shook his head, “[We] felt like the world was coming to an end” when the numbers were a fraction of what they are now.

Cancel Culture Using the Pseudo-Ailment, Eco-Anxiety, to Cure the Non-Existence of Manmade Global Warming/Climate Change
- By Kathleen Marquardt - American Policy Center
In 1972, at the First Earth Summit in Stockholm, the issue of climate change was raised for the first time on the world stage, “warning governments to be mindful of activities that could lead to climate change and evaluate the likelihood and magnitude of climatic effects.” 1
And most of the world is aware of the Rio Earth Summit that gave us Agenda 21/Sustainable Development – specifically to use Climate Change to reorganize the world from the top down. Ever since then, the global elite has been working to meld every positive aspect of our lives into enemies of a healthy climate – industrialization, free-market capitalism, property rights, individual freedoms, and even moral absolutes.
Our New Black Republican Leaders
- By Star Parker
Recently I wrote about Mesha Mainor, who represents a deep blue district in Atlanta in the Georgia state legislature, announcing that she is switching parties and becoming a Republican.
Mainor specifically noted her frustration with the Democratic Party in its opposition to improving education through parental choice and ongoing Democratic weakness in building strong law enforcement.
I cannot claim a new wave of Black Democrats like Mainor becoming Republicans. But there is certainly a trend.

Truth in a World of Lies
- By Tonya Cunningham - South Carolina
According to a 19th-century legend, the Truth and the Lie meet one day. The Lie says to the Truth: "It's a marvelous day today!" The Truth looks up to the skies and sighs, for the day was really beautiful. They spend a lot of time together, ultimately arriving beside a well. The Lie tells the Truth: "The water is very nice, let's take a bath together!" The Truth, once again suspicious, tests the water and discovers that it indeed is very nice. They undress and start bathing. Suddenly, the Lie comes out of the water, puts on the clothes of the Truth, and runs away. The furious Truth comes out of the well and runs everywhere to find the Lie and to get her clothes back. The World, seeing the Truth naked, turns its gaze away, with contempt and rage.

United Nations Staging Major "Summit of the Future" in 2024
- By The John Birch Society
Last week, the United Nations wrapped up its General Assembly regular session, along with its Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Summit. The globalist organization wasted no time pushing for greater global control — with the goal of one-world government.
For example, the UN pledged to double down on implementing its totalitarian Agenda 2030 plan and associated Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The UN General Assembly passed a resolution to accelerate Agenda 2030’s implementation, and the UN is working to create a new global financial system to help implement the SDGs. More broadly, the UN also promoted greater global integration, touting “multilateral treaties” as “essential tools for Member States to achieve the objectives of the UN Charter,” and it continued its use of climate-change hysteria to help achieve global, totalitarian control.
Can a Supernatural Hypothesis be Falsifiable?
- By Charles Creager, Jr.
One of the main ways that evolutionists try to claim the creation science is not science is by insisting that science only allows for naturalistic explanations. This is usually justified by claiming that supernatural explanations are not falsifiable. The real reason for insisting that only naturalistic explanations is the fact that only naturalistic explanations are acceptable to atheists, and they seem to have undue influence within the establishment scientific community.

State Library Leaves Marxist ALA
- By SC Freedom Caucus
Did you hear about the latest victory in the fight against the radical Left?
The South Carolina State Library terminated its membership with the woke American Library Association (ALA). This is a HUGE win for students and parental rights.
For those of you who haven’t followed the increasing leftward shift of the ALA, the organization recently elected Emily Drabinski as its President. Ms. Drabinksi is a self-proclaimed Marxist who expressed her desire to “queer the library catalog” and expose children to the “radical library catalog” of transgenderism, prostitution, masturbation, erotica, and other topics that should not be pushed on minors. In her bid for ALA president, Ms. Drabinski advocated for an ALA whose “public statements will be … socialist in tone.” She recently spoke at the Socialism 2023 conference in Chicago calling for public education and libraries to become a “site of socialist organizing.”

Solving America's Housing Woes or Making Them Worse?
- By Veronique de Rugy
America needs more housing. Pressure for reform is only growing as available homes get less and less affordable. Unfortunately, rather than addressing the root cause of high housing prices -- an epidemic of local overregulation that prevents enough homes from being built -- some legislators continue to flirt with social experiments that can harm both landlords and renters.
For example, some states and localities have implemented well-meaning "fair chance" laws banning criminal history on background checks for prospective tenants. Progressive Reps. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., and Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., recently introduced the idea as federal legislation. In a statement, Pressley said, "It's time we remove the systemic obstacles that have exacerbated the prison-to-homelessness pipeline."
District 19 is About to Have a First-of-Its-Kind Development Forced Into It
- By Benton Blount - Greenville County Councilman, District 19
I say forced because both my predecessor and myself have fought to keep it from happening, and they have now manipulated the information surrounding it to hide how this all took place and are prepared to vote it in against both my, and the constituent's wishes. Much like Project Woven less than a week ago, they are ignoring the requests of the community, district, and presiding Councilman. But this one is something that should terrify any concerned citizen, because they believe they know what’s best for you, more than you do!
“Cherokee Landing” is the newest attempt to shove affordable housing down the White Horse Road Corridor. It will sit directly behind the post office in Berea, between WHR and Farrs Bridge Road.
Email Sent from 15 Greenville ECs in Response to GCRP Chairman's Failed Compliancy
- By Press Release

Editor's Note: The following letter was emailed to all Greenville County Republican Party Precinct Executive Committeemen and Presidents (Click HERE for the Motions addressed in this letter.)
---------------
We, the 15 ECs who called for the September 14th Special Business Meeting, are writing to respond to the passing of the deadline of September 24, 2023 without any compliance from Chairman Yvonne Julian.
An egregious campaign has been engaged in, before and after the Special Meeting, by Ms. Yvonne Julian and Mr. Jeff Davis to malign our character, assume our motives, and ultimately distract from the real issues. Let us be clear: we are all Patriots, are not aligned with any group or politician, and are actively engaged in all the issues vital to our county. Any attempt to minimize the countless hours of work we are doing in Greenville County is reprehensible, especially coming from Officers, and should be rejected by all fair minded members of the body. In addition, many of us began addressing these issues prior to 2023 ReOrg, so any effort to state our motives are due to a “loss” at the County Convention is demonstratively false. We called a Special Business Meeting, not an “emergency” meeting, in accordance with our county rules. We provided notice beyond the required 24 hour minimum and handled all the details for the location, set up/take down, parking, etc. to ensure minimal inconvenience to the body. It was unfortunate that the air conditioning stopped working, but it was no less uncomfortable than the heat, mosquitos, and traffic noise we endured graciously during each meeting held in the HQ backyard. It is unbecoming conduct of Officers to mock people and go after their personal lives, businesses, etc. in response to reasonable requests to be given documents all ECs have a right to see.

Wade Hampton: Southern Gentleman
- By Bob Dill - Founder of The Times Examiner
The Life and Times of Gen. Wade Hampton, His Upstate Roots, Military Record and Political Impact on South Carolina History
When we think of historic figures who have had an impact on South Carolina history, we may thing of John C. Calhoun, “Pitchfork” Ben Tillman, J. Strom Thurmond, House Speaker David Wilkins or Rev. Jesse Jackson.
The single individual who has had the greatest impact on South Carolina History, in my view, was a man with Upstate roots, whose grandparents, uncles and aunts were massacred by Indians while living in a log cabin on the Tyger River near what is now Greer, South Carolina.
He is honored with a large statue on the grounds of the state capitol. A highway and school are named for him in Greenville County, yet the truth of his historic impact on the state has been mostly hidden from students in recent years.
Quotes from America’s Forbidden Historical Narrative
- By Mike Scruggs
Freedom without Truth Is an Impostor

William Wallace, Aberdeen, Scotland
ot long ago, I ran across a quote attributed to Scottish martyr and hero William Wallace, depicted by Mel Gibson in the 1995 movie, Braveheart. Wallace warned against the consequences of crushing the cultural heritage, symbols, and traditions of conquered peoples.
“Any society which suppresses the heritage of its conquered minorities, prevents their history or denies them their symbols, has sown the seeds of their own destruction.”—William Wallace, circa 1297-1305
Born in 1270, Wallace was a Scottish Knight who became one of the main leaders of the First Scottish War of Independence (1296-1328). Scotland had been independent until 1296, when England’s Edward I, tried to force the Scots to make him Lord Paramount of Scotland. Along with Andrew Moray, Wallace defeated an English army of King Edward I at the Battle of Stirling Bridge in September 1297 and was appointed Guardian of Scotland. In August 1305, Wallace was captured, sent to London, tried, and publicly executed for treason with barbaric cruelty.
Dems Crack under Pressure, Handing Tuberville a Massive Military Win
- By Press Release
More than a few people scratched their heads when one of the most successful college football coaches in history took a run at the U.S. Senate. Two years later, Democrats are struggling to understand something else: how to shut the Auburn icon down.
On Wednesday, deep into his seven-month goal-line stand, the Left learned a lesson that most of Tommy Tuberville’s (R-Ala.) opponents already have. This coach doesn’t quit. The man who said the pressure of politics is nothing compared to the heat of SEC football has proven it, singlehandedly holding up hundreds of military promotions until the president’s team rolls back their rule allowing taxpayer-funded abortions in our armed forces.
Democrats have hemmed and hawed, blaming Tuberville for everything from bad recruitment to China’s possible invasion of Taiwan. Even a handful of Republicans lobbed grenades, urging the longtime coach to get back on the sidelines and let the nominations run their course. Tuberville refused, reminding both parties that there were plenty of ways to end this standoff: the Biden administration could withdraw its unconstitutional policy or Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) could force the chamber to do its job and vote.
If Eternal Vigilance Is Still The Price For Our Freedom, Why Have So Many Americans Refused To Pay That Price?
- By W.H. Lamb
“The condition upon which God hath given liberty to man is eternal vigilance, which condition if he break, servitude is at once the consequence of his crime and the punishment of his guilt.”
John Curran (1750-1817), Irish lawyer and statesman. From a speech given in Dublin, Ireland on July 10, 1790. (Bartlett’s Familiar Quotations, John Bartlett, Ed., Brown & Co., 1968, p. 454).

It has long been postulated that it was Thomas Jefferson who first said, “Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty”. However, it’s now considered very doubtful that Jefferson ever uttered those famous words. Others of our Founders may have expressed similar thoughts during their conflict with Great Britain, but it was Irishman John Curran who iscredited with the original coining of that sentiment. Without any doubt, constant vigilance has always been a key element in the eons-long battle of mankind to attain or retain some degree of freedom and limited self-government, two indispensable elements in the forging of a life worth living that have been historically denied far too often to most of mankind by conniving and ruthless parts of the human “herd”.
Are Ordinary Americans Buying 'Bidenomics'?
- By Veronique de Rugy
As election season approaches, Democrats are touting the economic results of Biden administration policies aimed at improving the lives of working Americans and creating a more equitable economy. But ordinary Americans aren't feeling the so-called success of "Bidenomics."
Superficially, the economy looks solid. As measured by real GDP, it increased at an annual rate of 2.1% in the second quarter of 2023. While August's unemployment rate rose to 3.8%, that's still considered full employment by economists. Wages are rising, and we are often told that we're in a manufacturing boom.
Bill Gates Funds Tree-burial Project to Save Mother Earth
- By Rebecca Terrell - The New American
Bill Gates wants to destroy 70 million acres of trees across the United States and bury the timber underground.
According to SlayNews, it’s part of the billionaire eugenist’s plans to save Mother Earth from climate change.
The project is a venture of Kodama Systems, a fledgling forest-management company that aims to thin overgrown forests and “utilize excess biomass at scale.”
Last December, several investors, including Bill Gates’ private investment firm, Breakthrough Energy, pumped $6.6 million dollars into the project.
Christian Revelation and the Origin of Races
- By Winston McCuen - South Carolina
The great theologian Bonaventure, eight centuries ago, observed how unbelieving thinkers are prone to two great and critical failures: the failure to ask the right questions; and the failure to avoid wrong conclusions. In the 1850s, Charles Darwin, by failing to believe and comprehend Genesis, wrote fundamentally flawed books on the origin of species and on the so-called "descent" of man. By these errant but influential tomes. Darwin has misled, and continues to mislead, legions of the unbelieving and anti-Christ.

NGU Climbs in Annual Rankings for Third Consecutive Year
- By Billy Cannada - NGU
For a third consecutive year, North Greenville University (NGU) continues to climb in the annual rankings of U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Regional Universities” in the South, jumping two spots in the 2023-2024 report.
U.S. News & World Report released its Best Colleges rankings on Monday, evaluating nearly 1,500 colleges and universities on up to 13 measures of academic quality.
NGU tied for 36th in the 2023-2024 rankings, marking the highest rating the university has received in its region.
Becoming 'A Country I Do Not Recognize'
- By Star Parker
If there is one overriding theme of the Biden years, it is the systematic degradation of American freedom, pushing the lives and freedom of private citizens aside as government expands and takes over.
This is done under the rubric of the left that "government knows best."
Day by day, we are becoming what the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia described as "a country I do not recognize."
House Republicans Grapple Over Appropriations
- By Eagle Forum
Government Shutdown Showdown
With the government’s fiscal year ending on September 30th, Congress has only a few days to act to keep the government open. The House must act first on spending bills as required by the Constitution. With ten of the twelve appropriations bills passed out of committee and a Republican majority, sending a package to the Senate before the October 1st deadline should have been easier. However, progress came to a halt over the last two weeks. With a diverse caucus of conservatives and moderates, Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has the weighty task of uniting the party behind spending and policy limits. Can he pull it off before the government shuts down?
Funding Negotiations Stall in U.S. House
- By Joshua Arnold - The Washington Stand
U.S House Speaker Kevin McCarthy on Tuesday delayed a vote on a continuing resolution (CR) that would fund the government from September 30 — the current deadline — until October 31. “I’m just recircling it; we have people talking together,” McCarthy told reporters. “It’s coming up.” The delay signals a lack of agreement among Republicans, whose slim majority makes it necessary to gain the support of nearly every single member.
Also on Tuesday, five House Republicans joined all House Democrats to defeat (212-214) a procedural vote to advance the fiscal year 2024 defense appropriations bill. Such procedural votes usually fall along party lines with no drama. When House conservatives helped defeat a procedural vote to advance a bill in June, it was the first time such a vote had failed since 2002.
